Bio
The Rosellys blend country, roots and bluegrass, bringing together banjo, fiddle, guitars, pedal steel, accordion, bass, drums and soaring vocals into a distinctive, harmony-rich sound. Performing an all-original repertoire, they are influenced by artists including Chris Stapleton, The Steeldrivers, Alison Krauss & Union Station, and their music is shaped by extensive travels through America, especially Texas and Louisiana. Their upbeat live shows combine tight musicianship with “extremely fine harmonies” (Maverick Magazine). Rebecca’s “honeyed tones” (R2 Rock n Reel) sit alongside their “stirring, moving and classy fiddle and banjo-centric songs” (Americana UK), creating what BBC Radio Ulster describes as “a brilliant band and a good example of that crossover where Britain meets America.”
