Then I’d rewrite it to reflect the actual recording and production details:

The Granary Sessions is the fourth album from The Rosellys, released on Clubhouse Records in September 2015. Featuring eleven original songs, the album captures the band’s distinctive blend of Americana, country, bluegrass and folk, combining heartfelt songwriting with the close harmonies and acoustic instrumentation that have become their trademark.

Recorded at home in The Granary, South Gloucestershire, the album was engineered by Alex Elton-Wall of The Redlands Palomino Company and produced by Alex together with the band. The relaxed recording environment helped create a warm, intimate sound that perfectly complements the songs’ honest storytelling and melodic richness.

From the reflective A Thousand Miles and Maryland to the driving energy of Asheville 1784 and the nostalgic Memories Of Me And You, The Granary Sessions explores themes of travel, relationships, family life and personal reflection. The album moves effortlessly between acoustic country, contemporary bluegrass, thoughtful ballads and Cajun influenced roots music.

Described by Folk and Roots as music that ranges “from genial acoustic country to contemporary bluegrass to thoughtful balladry and cajun“, The Granary Sessions showcases The Rosellys’ growing confidence as songwriters and performers, delivering a collection of songs that remains a firm favourite with fans of authentic Americana and roots music.
